Special May 10 guest, Oxnard Police Chief
Chief Jeri Williams will be our special guest speaker at the 30th Anniversary party on May 10. Chief Williams is the first female police chief in the City of Oxnard, and after serving in law enforcement for 23 years, became Chief in January 2011. Her community based policing philosophy involves working with the community as a partner to identify and resolve issues by working together. This is a don't-miss event!

The Ventura County Board of Supervisors presented VCPWN with a Resolution honoring our organization, among a few others, for our role in promoting education for women. March 2012 was Women's History Month - the theme was "Women's Education - Women's Power".

Correction on Hors d'oeuvres for April Meeting
In order to accommodate those who require vegetarian and/or gluten free we have chosen the following items: Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms; Mini Egg Rolls; Assorted Quiche; Chicken Drumettes; Fresh Fruit Watermelon Boat; Assorted Sandwich Wraps.The larger portion of hors d'oeuvres will allow us to be able to "shop" our Silent Auction longer for the fantastic items that will be available.Hope you all enjoy the evening.
